       Bagamoyo is a coastal town rich in history and cultural heritage, located just 75 km north of Dar es Salaam. Once a major port and the final stop for slave and ivory caravans during the 19th century, Bagamoyo holds deep historical significance as part of the East African slave trade route and early missionary work.
